This module will show you how to properly describe what should work and how.
As a tester, your task will be to note any errors in the application in the right place. Fortunately, you can use special tools created for this purpose.
They allow us to observe their repair process and manage it. We also show you that the tester’s weapon consists of many other tools that are smaller but equally important. You will learn how to use them to make your work more effective.
Not all designs are perfect. Incomplete documentation, lack of requirements, instability in the testing environment, defective libraries – these are just some of the many risks you may face as a tester.
But don’t worry – we will teach you how to identify and manage them.
It is worth remembering that testing is a craft. You have to practice to get better at it. So in this module, you will learn about different types of websites and applications – and how to test them. Even large IT systems will not be a challenge for you anymore.
You will master the SQL language for working with databases. To automate tests, you need to learn the basic structures and learn to write simple programs to be able to test them later. We will also show you Selenium WebDriver for automating tests.
During this module, we prepare you for the ISTQB exam. We discuss and explain the certification-related questions and refer to the course syllabus.
